About me
I am a PhD candidate at the PSI Lab of KU Leuven, Belgium, supervised by Prof. Tinne Tuytelaars and Dr. Minye Wu. My research focuses on neural rendering and inverse graphics, with an emphasis on physically grounded inverse rendering for challenging reflectance, especially glossy and specular appearance. I work at the intersection of computer vision, computer graphics, and optimization, developing practical pipelines that translate research outputs into usable assets for downstream graphics and AR/VR workflows.
Before joining PSI, I obtained my Diploma (integrated Bachelor’s and Master’s) in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AuTH), Greece, and an Advanced Master of Artificial Intelligence from KU Leuven. During my undergraduate studies, I joined Pandora Robotics Team as a volunteer research assistant working on software-hardware integration for autonomous search and rescue robotics operations. After my undergraduate studies, I joined ITI, CERTH in Thessaloniki, Greece, as a research assistant for Horizon2020 project BADGER and later I moved to Belgium to work as an Industry 4.0 consultant at Kapernikov in Brussels.
